We've been delivering on change
Led by Mayor Brenda Locke, Surrey Connect has held 4 of Surrey's 8 city council seats since 2022, and we've used that seat at the table to get real things done. We cut red tape to speed up housing development, completed major projects like the 80th Avenue expansion and the Cloverdale Ice Rink, and made fixing Surrey's roads a priority, all while keeping property taxes low. We also closed the back doors at City Hall. No more side deals, no decisions made without public accountability.
These are investments that Surrey families actually feel. This isn't a campaign promise. It's a track record, and we're just getting started.

Honest Leadership. Real Results.
That's Brenda Locke.
Brenda Locke has called Surrey home for over 40 years. A former city councillor, she co-founded Surrey Connect in 2020 and was elected Mayor of Surrey on October 15, 2022. Known for her straight-talking style and deep roots in the community, Mayor Locke has made transparency, fiscal responsibility, and public safety the cornerstones of her leadership. She is a mom, a nana, and a neighbour who has spent decades advocating for Surrey residents because she genuinely believes this city deserves better.
